I recently got an email from Bruno Camara saying that he modeled my Viking Thrall Character design from Tomb Raider Underworld and man was I blown away! I love it! Just had to share because it is such a pleasure to see the design translated with the attention to style and design that I had in mind from the start. This guy is a bad ass and did a bad ass job! This is an old design from a while ago but still, I want to see him model some of my newer designs! All design copyright Crystal Dynamics/Eidos the models were done as fan art.
Awesome model based on awesome sketches! I wish he would have worked at Crystal with with us back then. Seems like he would have been a good fit to translate that style into the game.
Siiiick! He definitely did your viking concept justice! Very nice :D I'd love to see more models from him using your concepts! I'm sure they'd look fantastic :)
Paul, I know your friends Travis Kotzebue and Brian Forkner and they always said your art was fantastic but, damn, I am blown away. So very inpressed. I hear you are (back?) in Colorado, welcome to the mountains, I hope you are enjoying it.
Amazing sketches, I really really really love it (the sculpt is good too...) Please, you don't have to name Eidos even if you ve done it for them. Those arts are yours and always will, even if they bought it! Nobody can buy your intellectual property.
Koz and Ben, word! Bruno is good at whatever he models! He is truly talented and has a wonderful eye for design.
@ Ryan, Thanks Chua! I'll try to incorporate more cowbells in the future! Get that drawing framed!!
@ Antoine, I totally agree. I think he did such an awesome job and hope to work more with him in the future!
@ Michelle, Thanks!
@ Jason, Right on man, thanks for the nice comments! I am in Colorado and loving it! You should tell Travis and Brian to organize something, it would be cool to hang out!
@ Loran, Thanks! Glad you like it! And I appreciate the respect for the art itself!
